Mother Eve (2026)

Mother Eve (2026)

I didn’t know I was drawing Eve until I started drawing the vines softly wrapping around her lovely figure. The woman came first – lush, sensuous and abundantly feminine, but not fragile or weak. She was boldly and unapologetically herself, in all her fullness and graceful allure. She would have been a masterpiece in of herself, but I wasn’t sure where the piece was going, or exactly what I was going to do with it. Then, as the vines started emerging, cascading down her generous silhouette – it all made sense. The vines became a lush garden, and the luscious, luxuriant woman become Eve: the Mother of all the Living.
