I am a narrative-driven artist whose practice centers around 4 core ideas: (1) making things as a way to love people, (2) art as a vehicle to build community, (3) art as a way to process the world around me and (4) art as a way to share beauty and hope in a broken world.

- Created a medium-shot portrait illustration for a Stay Wear brand ambassador. STAY WEAR is a mental health-themed streetwear brand which promotes themes of resilience, hope and suicide prevention
Community Engagement & Arts Education
- AmeriCorps Member — Atlanta, Georgia (2021-2022)
- Led a collaborative weekly comics-making club in afterschool program for refugee middle-school students, where original characters, stories, and comic pages were developed based on students’ ideas
- Incorporated comics, webtoons, and graphic novels into small-group literacy activities, encouraging students to read and engage with books
- Student Support Specialist — Atlanta, Georgia (2022-2023)
- Facilitated after-school programming for refugee high-school students in Clarkston, Georgia while providing mentorship, college preparation, arts enrichment, and community-building activities
- Connected students with creative opportunities through partnerships with local arts organizations and visits to arts schools and institutions, including a scholarship-funded course at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center
- Shared personal collections of graphic novels, art books, YA fiction & manga to expand students’ access to diverse, age-appropriate literature & artwork
